Kristy and Gary together have more than 30 years of real estate experience. We focus on properties primarily in the Westside, Seabright, and Pleasure Point areas of Santa Cruz and the Rio Del Mar area of Aptos, but are also knowledgeable about other parts of Santa Cruz county and selected areas of Silicon Valley.

 

Santa Cruz is a wonderful place to live and vacation, with its own set of extraordinary qualities. Not being originally from Santa Cruz gives us a perspective and understanding of its uniqueness in ways those who grew up here don't have, which can be particularly helpful for out-of-town buyers.  We made the decision to move here from Saratoga, CA several years ago to be close to the ocean, and love our new hometown!

 

 

Gary has seen the cycle of real estate from buyers markets to sellers markets, and back again several times over. He has worked with developers and individual home owners, investors and first-time home buyers.  Kristy is the researcher, reveling in facts & figures and crossing the t's. She's good at getting answers and tracking down information that others can't find.

 

Buying his first home at age 21, Gary is a lifelong real estate entrepreneur.  He worked in the mortgage industry before making the switch to real estate sales, where he's enjoyed a career spanning three decades representing hundreds of buyers and sellers from Silicon Valley to the Santa Cruz coast.  And having owned several vacation homes, he knows first-hand the rewards and concerns of 2nd homes at the beach.  Gary is an "outside the box" thinker to find solutions and make things happen!

 

With several cross-country moves under her belt, Kristy easily identifies with clients going through the stresses of packing and de-cluttering their homes for sale, as well as the joys and challenges of settling in to a new home & neighborhood.  Originally from the Washington, DC area, her background includes data collection & statistical analysis, business & office management, and publications design.  Kristy has had a lifelong fascination with all things architectural, and is a whiz at rearranging furniture to improve presentation. She's been buying and selling homes since moving to California in 1983.

 

We both enjoy hands-on involvement in remodeling projects for clients and for ourselves, and creating unique ideas for property improvement.
